There's been so much negativity since last night that I thought I would start a thread dedicated to positive things from last night's game. Absolutely no negativity allowed.
Here are my contributions:
(1) Special teams is nails! Seems every time the Chiefs brought the ball out of the endzone on a kick return, the returner was upended around the 10 yard line.
(2) The DL, especially Liuget, was dominant at times.
(3) Novak set a Chargers record, eclipsing my favorite Chargers kicker.
(4) Gates can still make eye-popping highlight reel catches.
(5) The one time I noticed Davis, he looked pretty good in coverage.
(6) In addition to his power inside, BO shows really good speed gaining the edge outside.
(7) Despite being a clock-control style of offense, we demonstrated we still have quick-strike ability.
(8) Despite being outplayed for much of the game and despite all the injuries to key positions, the Chiefs still needed a last-second FG to win, and our 2 losses this season have been by only a combined 4 points.
(9) The home crowd actually induced a false start.
(10) We didn't lose to the Raiders.
Discuss.
