As much as we all LOVE to bash the Spanos regime, this was a 100% class move. Bravo Dean.

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Trending toward returnCoach Anthony Lynn expects Ekeler (neck/concussion) to return Sunday at Denver, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Lynn may be hinting that Ekeler has gained clearance from the concussion protocol, but official word on that front has yet to emerge. Perhaps working in Ekeler's favor was his limited listing on the final Week 16 injury report before he was ruled out for Saturday's eventual loss to the Ravens. In the end, his activity level will be watched closely to get a bearing on his potential to play in the Chargers' regular-season finale.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports The Los Angeles ChargersKansas City Chiefs. With two games left to play in the regular season, they have a very realistic chance at claiming the one seed, getting a bye, and hosting a playoff game in the divisional round at StubHub.
They have gotten to this point while being without their young star tight end, Hunter Henry. He was lost for what at the time was expected to be the entire season back in the Spring. Now, however, Henry is back at practice:

Despite being on the PUP, Henry could play as early as this weekend against the Baltimore Ravens. That seems an incredibly remote possibility, but especially following , it seems there is a real chance for him to play in week 17 against the Denver Broncos.
The Chargers have one of the two or three best offenses in the National Football League and the return of Henry would clearly make them even better. This is exciting news, indeed.

So the second place schedule gets the Chargers the Steelers, and the Dolphins, as well as the NFC-N and AFC-S. Since the Packers haven't yet played in London... I think the Chargers could host them there.

Steelers here. But looks like a very tough schedule.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I think I'll try to make it to the Titans game next year. Easier drive from Atlanta than Jacksonville. ROAD TRIP!

So we play Green Bay here. I bet 25k of the 29k seats are filled with Packer fans.

                        Same with the Steelers game.
a superbowl victory can fix that.
