OT: Nashville

Have any of you guys been (or live) in Nashville? We want to go there this summer and stay someplace close enough to the bars/music scene so we can just walk and bar hop and listen to some good live music, etc. Any suggestions?

...there's a nice Hilton adjacent to the Country Music HOF and all the bars, etc. on lower Broadway and 2nd Avenue.

If you'd prefer to be a little distance away (cab ride 5-10 minutes), there's Loews Vanderbilt Plaza, on West End that's
quieter and with good places to eat plus-close to Vandy and Belmont University.

My wife one a four day trip for us and we stayed there. I didn't know what to expect, but we really had a blast - fun place to visit.

There's a downtown Hotel Indigo that I like (make sure you look at the downtown location, not the one up by Vandy - also a nice hotel but removed from downtown and Music Row)

Thanks for the info... We were really interested in the Loews and the user reviews sounded like it was closer, but the map looked a little farther. We want to be able to walk to everything so you really helped us there.... I'll look into that Hilton. If we throw a few too many back, we want to be able to stumble into our hotel!
