In the NFL, "deserve" doesn't mean anything. We lost to some shitty teams last year, and those games ended up meaning nothing.

However, if we lose 4 straight, get blown out like pussies, then lose to the winless Raiders, the coach and a bunch of players deserve to be fired. And, if the g.m. can't figure that out, he should get fired too.

That being said. Blow the Raiders out today, and all is forgiven.

However, your post - and your attitude - is a perfect example of the silliness that pervades around here regarding the Raiders. Even suggesting that we fire the coach, the coaching staff, a bunch of players, and the GM - without posting 10 smilies to prove that you were joking - makes my "giving up" suggestion to IR a badly injured player seem positively Einsteinian by comparison.

I agree with your last two sentences. Personally, I don't think this team is gonna do much this year, so a loss here only confirms that.
