Consider that Tyrod had a bad day and the OL was a patchwork OL. I can't believe they didn't throw it to Ekeler - if that's the game plan it needs to be fixed! I thought Tevi was better than expected, Lamp and St Louis were both pretty good so we can expect more from them with playing time. Also, Tyrod was a bit better in the second half so that gives me hope that he'll do better going forward. All in all, they have plenty of room for improvement and they will be working on it this week!
A bit late to the chat, but I've a question: how many turnovers did the O have in total? How many interceptions did Taylor throw when the game was on the line?
If the answer to those is zero, we're already better than last year.
Ground and pound, baby!

Don't throw in the towel just yet Charger fans!
Ya think?
I'm probably just kidding myself but there may be a chance that Lynn & Steichen were saving the playbook for KC.
If our D gets any better, we might be competitive with little O as long as they score from a short field when they get it.
In comparison, Indianapolis, down 4 in the 4th, threw an INT with about 5 minutes to go, to lose to the worst team in the league.
Tyrod Taylor for President!

uh we played and beat the worst team in the league...... Thanks to a timely leg cramp.

Bolt up!
If not throwing ints is the criteria for great QB play then pay me league minimum and I can go out and not throw ints. Of course just like Taylor I won’t complete passes either.!
no chance of that happening.... gonna go out on the proverbial limb and say the Chiefs will be doing well to get in the endzone twice against the now broken in Chargers defense.
You must be the most optimistic Charger fan ever. Our offense is so limited with Taylor at QB that we can't hang with KC. Game could very well be over at halftime.

I disagree thet Cincy is the worst team in the league. They have an above average receiving core and Burrows is going to be a very good rookie QB. Their RB is one of the best in the league. When the season ends I think they will turn out to be a average team.
