Will be a tough game versus a quality opponent. I look forward to the game and seeing how the Chargers compete.

For all the talk about the Charger wins coming against easy teams, Baltimore is about the same as us:
Baltimore Ravens:
4-0 against the NFC South
3-4 against the AFC (wins against Pitts, Cleveland and Tennessee, losses against Cincinnati twice, Pitts, and Indy)
Will be a decent game. They have a very nice RB they are riding right now so we have to really maintain the inside running. With a few of our key players back i think we can do enough to show them down. They will score on us.
That said our offense definitely perked up last week. We were far more creative and Rivers seemed to get rid of the ball due to the play selection. I think the big key though is Matthews....he really made an impact last week in his limited carries and still hit 100 yards.
We can win it but with it being in MD I expect them favored. We just need to get into that playoff mode again and start off fast and play strong defense and force these guys into a passing game more than running game to take our their best talent in their rookie RB.

A quick observation of quarterback Joe Flacco and how he played in the Baltimore Ravens' 34-27 win in Week 12:
Flacco
The biggest improvement in Flacco was how he handled the blitz. In struggling the past three games against increased pressure, he said the Ravens had to make teams pay to make them stop blitzing. Flacco should expect to see a good amount of pressure Sunday against the aggressive San Diego Chargers. Quarterbacks have a 72.0 passer rating against the Chargers' blitz, which is fifth worst in the NFL.
Flacco certainly did that on "Monday Night Football," where he completed 13 of 17 attempts against the New Orleans Saints' blitz. His 222 yards passing against added pressure Monday night were the most of his seven-year NFL career, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Flacco set the tone early, hitting wide receiver Steve Smith for the first touchdown of the game despite staring down an unblocked Saints pass-rusher.
In the games leading up to last week's bye, Flacco was unsettled in the pocket and didn't follow through on his throws when the pass rush collapsed around him. On Monday, he was poised for most of the game and took some big hits before releasing the ball downfield.
One big key in getting the offense rolling is going to be how Watt competes against Ngata. A rookie center against one of the all time great nose guards could be a problem for our running game.
