I hate it when they throw in 34 OLB to the mix. How do you rank positions that are really not related to one another. Freeney is a horrible LB, but is a fine pass rusher. Many of the top OLB are really just pass rushers. But ESPN is hung up on meaningless lablels, rather then their function.
As far as rankings go, I would have ranked Hali as higher then Von Miller. Hali is a more disruptive player, and can do it all on his own, and often had to. Miller has always been fairly limited as a LB. He makes a lot of plays with his speed, but I can't recall him beating people with power, other then when he turns his speed rush into a power move. Butler and Derrick Johnson somewhat higher then Houston and Freeney, just because they are complete players, but overall the pass rushers are going to have more impact, because pass rushers are a bigger factor then all around LB.

Yeah I find it funny that the primarily pass rushing DEs are even considered Linebackers. I mean it even says it in the name of the position, "Line backer" or backing the line and not ON the line.
If an OLB is pass rushing or "blitzing" more than 50% of his snaps, IMO that should be considered a DE.
