Been some whispers about Belichick to the Chargers. Hitching himself to a young stud could be tempting to him as a coach. Having JH will give us a nice market for HC, OC, DC. AND as silly as it sounds..... SPECIAL TEAMS COORDINATOR.....
Belichick?

Why a Match? Everyone on this forum claim Spanos is cheap. Cheap? Well Belichick is cheaper. Franchise QB? Herbert has that potential and makeup to be cool and execute no matter what. No need to waste seasons finding one. Defense? Guys guys like Patricia get fired every season. Also has a knack in finding DC interns. Belichick has no issues finding a DC capable of doing his bidding. Annual Injuries to starters? Eh Belichick wins games using 3rd stringers to "do their job".
Why not a match? Bit of a tight ass in L.A.? No home field advantage. More corny Subway commercials.

1st He is not interested in job, taking all the history into consideration would you change Kraft to Spanos?
2nd organisation will not give him that much power.
Remember the rumors about heading to London that so angered Spanos... it probably had some legs.
If they had any sense, they'd swallow their bullshit, and offer demon from hell anything.
Maybe they are just that witless.

This made me laugh for a long while. Nothing against you Paradoxrp, but the sun has a better just of freezing over than Belichick being the Chargers head coach.
If the history of the Spanos is anything of note, we will sign a slightly better HC than McCoy and Lynn and be happy for it.
P.s send me where you heard these whispers. Are they same place as Brady to the Chargers.

Bill Belichick values ownership, it's the most important component of a professional football team.
Bill Belichick is also his own GM, no spot for John Spanos in Bill's front office.
Bill grew up in Annapolis, in and around Baltimore, owns another home in Nashville, he's an east-coast guy.
Too many pieces don't fit.
I think the Chargers like to hire milquetoast head coaches because they prefer a head coach that would never become more popular than them. It's a power-thing.
