This is a very good point that I had not considered. If they bring Lynn back (and I threw up in my mouth writing that) it would have to be on yet another one year prove it extension. Aside from someone unemployed, who would want to sign on to be a part of that coaching staff?

You could also bring up the same point about TT if they fire Lynn. If the team doesn't commit to TT long term, what coach would want to come here if TT is let go in a year or so when most GMs want to bring in their own guy as a coach?

Almost makes it sound like they either fire both at the end of the season or extend TT and fire Lynn to remove the uncertainty for a new coach.

Now that the stadium is built and he's a proven Incompetent the spanos need to re-evaluate the whole situation. No one will sign on with Lynn next year for a 1 year stint. My bet is they keep Telesco and fire Lynn. It will be interesting.

Sure...there are a couple of holes on offensive line but you really can't blame Telesco for everything. The Spanos and Telesco probably new Lynn was a transitional coach and wanted to give him a chance while the stadium was being built and a chance to learn and develop. He hasn't learned or developed...NEXT!

This punch list should be emailed to Telesco! Hilarious!

Most valuable traits of an NFL head coach? Eight star players weigh in

What do YOU value in a new Chargers head coach?

                1. I want a crafty old fella like Vi Fangio or Wade Phillips coordinating the defense. Remember, Chargers' lone SB trip, Bill Arnsparger was defensive coordinator.
I would add be aggressive on Offense, DEfense and ST's......

I do wonder that if Telesco is let go if Jeremiah gets a call...

                    I understand what you're saying.

The reality is, Los Angeles doesn't hate a loser, they are indifferent to a loser. And SoFi Stadium the Chargers could become the only team in the league without a home field advantage.

My point is, the Chargers need a name to put asses in seats. This renders Anthony Lynn toxic to Charger ticket sales, IMHO.

                      Harbaugh would be a "name
Urban Meyer would be a "name"

My guy Caldwell, the Rams DC, Arthur, Joe Brady probably not the "names" needed at this point - that will bring excitement and a jolt to the Bolts/. Hell I am not sure even Brian Kelly would but I think more than these few names

If its about name recognition and creating a buzz/spark - Dean might want to charter his airplane to Ann Arbor unless Urban wants the job.

Brian Kelly would be moreso an infamous name given the USC vs ND rivalry
as a strategy for recruiting fans it might be a bad idea---or a brilliant one

                        I get those two confused
                        P1. Block Destruction - Ogbonnia
                        P2. Shocking Effort - Eboigbe
                        P3. Ball Disruption - Ford
                        P4. Obnoxious Communication - Matlock

End of the day - if you win, fans will show up

And sure maybe Joe Brady, Arthur Smith, Saleh, McDaniels - you name it - will win games.

But if you ask me for the next 1-2 years - what coach(es) will probably bring the W's back the quickest -I would bet on guys with experience like Kelly or Harbaugh.
