    DJ Fluker

I've read on bleacher report that they might move him to guard and either sign a right tackle or Draft one. I think that would be the best move for him since he has struggled with speed rushers.

Best idea since move Jammer to Safety...

And makes a good thread comment in about another 1000 posts.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I still say we should do that.

          Here's the link, FWIW...

A couple of sources within the San Diego Chargers organization are reporting that the team's 2013 first-round draft pick, OT D.J. Fluker, will change positions this offseason and play OG when the team starts training camp in 2015.

Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus had this to say about D.J. Fluker: "Early in the season, there were two weeks where offensive tackle D.J. Fluker (-8.4 to+0.1) was among the two-worst right tackles in run blocking. Fluker ended the season with back-to-back weeks among the top two right tackles in run blocking."

One aspect that's been ignored is that Fluker wasn't getting much help this year vs. last season with our transition to 3 and 4 WR sets. He was never going to be a guy that was going to be super successful on an island vs speed rushers.

And it didn't help that his RG couldn't be counted on for help.

nobody seems to mention he had a bad ankle for several weeks and then a rumored knee injury at the end of season too. To me the regression in his play was caused by not having a steady vet next to him @RG like last year.

                      Winner Winner Winner

As much as people piled on Clary he is far superior to pork chop, plus I think finding a veteran guard would be easier and cheaper then finding a new right tackle

I have speculated for some time now that Clary was underated. Even as a RT. Since Goff we had not has a RG as good. IMO Clary only needed time, but... Injuries didn't offer Clary time.

I want a real threat at LG, it can only help Dunlap if he stays. I want a center and RG that can pull block with the best. IMO Fluker next to King Dunlap could be a strong combo with a vet RT and Watt at RG with a rookie center.
