CBJ vs Sorensen

I am glad McCoy saw that Meachem did not go to the ball. The same thing cost Rivers multiple INTs last year. Meachem is the worst WR at going to the ball I have ever seen in almost 40 years of watching football. It was only after the defender had picked the ball off and had taken his first step that Meachem even considered the possibility of moving his feet in the direction of the ball (during the entire time from the time of the throw until one step with the ball by the defender--no steps from Meachem to the ball).
Still, Sorenson was much better than Clipboard Jesus. Cilpboard Jesus held the ball forever and seemed to struggle to diagnose the defenses. It was actually Sorenson that looked like the veteran as he quickly read the defenses and make good decisions with strong throws. Sorenson could have been a bit more accurate with a couple of his throws, but he was very impressive overall. If he plays like that in the other preseason games, I would have no trouble with him as our #2 QB.

I was excited about the Sorensen pick after the draft. I saw him play in college, and he was quite a player. Of Course it was FCS and BCS level competition, but the guy led his team on a pretty amazing comeback that day.
He's a pretty dangerous passer."...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
