We're not gonna beat the Broncos by waiting for them to get into "cap hell" (which, does that even happen anymore? I feel like teams are always finding creative ways around it). I don't like that soft attitude anyways.

We're gonna beat them only by getting better and continuing to add talent especially to areas that need a lot of help.

Say what you will about George, but that guy won a lot of World Series trophies. He was smart enough to get talent surrounded by managers like Billy Martin and Joe Torre....I can't imagine Elway being that smart ever.

It's not guaranteed to work, but it is easier to just outspend everyone in baseball with no salary cap.

Snyder is a poor comparison, mainly because he's an owner whereas Elway is a GM. Also, while Snyder was known for overspending in free agency, the biggest criticism of him has always been that he surrounds himself with cronies and yes-men instead of the best football people for the job. If anything, Dean Spanos is the closest thing to Snyder in the AFC.
