    OL thread

This is a link from Hogs Haven, a Redskin site. But the point is that it compares not only Seattle to NE, but shows that the skins have a similar composition in terms of draft picks.

Another interesting point is that Nate Solder is another OL who was really knocked about having feet that are too slow to play OT, yet he is starting at LT for NE.

It helps that the Pats are allowed to get away with so much holding.

When it comes to our oline, a key question is were will Fluker play then who will play Center. I have heard we are hot after Dunlap and want to sign him badly. So assuming we resign Dunlap we have Fluker at either guard position or right tackle. We have Watt a natural gaurd who can play Center. The rest are depth hopefully.

If we play Dunlap Fluker Draft pick/free agent Watt Free Agent. Would be my preference.

I don't see them moving Fluker to the Left side in any scenario and isn't LG Watt's natural position? If they can re-sign Dunlap (sounds like they are committed to that already) and put Watt a LG, then we need a OC and either RG or RT (let's say they move Fluker and go after a RT). I would bet TT tries to then get a OC and RT in FA AND the draft, while cutting Porkchops and bringing back Rinehart, Ohrn, and Robinson and maybe Sirles as placeholders or eventual backups if a new OC and RT establish themselves in camps. We'd be cutting our biggest liability (Porky), benching the 2nd biggest (Rine) and leaving plenty of vet depth and being 3 deep at OC as needed.

I wonder if Sirles has a future here. He played ok when given a chance.

well, we KNOW for sure Porkchops has no future for us as a starter and should be gone, so I think Sirles would at least be competing for a spot - especially if Fluker does not move inside. The biggest OL priority I'm thinking has to be Center. The sooner we settle that the better as other moves cascade off of that position being solved.

Stefen Wisniewski will be 26 in March. I would be thrilled if we could sign him. Let Watt play either guard spot then draft an OT.
