What concerns me about Badgley is that he has had a sharp decline over the past THREE years. His first year with us was great--he kicked at 93%. Second year, dropped all the way down to 81%. Last year, an abysmal 72%. Had it just been a one-year blip, I'd cut him some slack, but how do you explain such a horrible dropoff over THREE years?

I agree with this. Bringing back a kicker that made less than 73% of his kicks is a strange move. Clearly our ST coach was easily the worst in the league so there is hope he can bounce back but he has sucked far more than he has been a clutch kicker for us so it's hard to imagine we couldn't do better.

This dude sucks. Worse is that he thinks he’s actually good and marketed his bullshit name of “Money Badger” and is more focused on that than football.

That miss he had against the Saints is still on my mind.

I think Badgely was signed for one year to determine is the noticeable decline in 2019 due to his injury and in 2020 a mental issue with never knowing who was going to come through unblocked or does he just suck. He showed in year 1 he could do it. Can he do it again? If he can't he is cut and they move on.
