POLL: Do You Want The Spanoses To Sell?

I've never done a poll here before, but I am curious as to what the fan base thinks. My opinion is that the large majority of true Chargers fans would be ecstatic if the Spanos family no longer owned a controlling interest in the team.

The reason why I voted no is because it's taken 20 years for these guys to figure it out! I don't want a new NFL owner with zero experience purchasing the team. If it's a group that knows what they're doing like Brees and Company maybe! For now it's No until we find out who the bidders are.

I want Dean to sell to a competent owner that will keep the team in SoCal (preferably in SD) and keep the brand the same. Someone similar to Tepper in Carolina. But I don’t know how realistic that is.

I made the votes public because I wanted to see who voted in favor of the Spanos family keeping the team. 19-2 in favor of desiring new ownership that isn't named Spanos. gzubeck explained his vote of confidence for the Spanoses. What about you Beserker? Care to share?

specifically who are the candidates to buy
and what their intentions are
im assuming the NFL would have a LOT of say, and they would want to keep the brand so not too worried about that.

As much as I love and follow the team, the reality is that this franchise will never succeed with this ownership. I continue to try and convince myself this isn’t true, but deep down I know it is. The best thing for the franchise, imho, is for the Spani to sell. The sad truth is that I’ll continue to rabidly follow the team even if they don’t sell.

But I won’t buy tickets as long as they own the team.

Drew Brees retired just in time to buy the Chargers. I would fully support him.
