No link. He was on ESPN today talking about past trades where a team moved up to get QBs. He and Hasselbeck were saying which teams that thought won each trade. When it came to this deal they disagreed. And they went through their respective analyses and then Hasselbeck mentioned that the selection of LT allowed the Bolts to take Brees and Bruschi was like, "Oh yeah."
