I'm not too impressed with Daniel so far...forces the rock into coverage too much...

I've been watching a lot of backup quarterbacks the past few days. I thought Daniel played as well or better than any of them.

There has to be better options on the camp cut wire. Same with backup LT. Pipkins just isn't working out.

Anything remotely serviceable at NFL tackle is gold bullion. We won't whiff a scent of it on the cut wire, believe me.

I was skeptical about the middle and bottom of this last year's draft class. It's looking *way* better than I imagined, particularly Rumph and Rountree.

Rountree doesn't have elite speed but he gets busy with it quickly. Runs like a man with a serious idea. That said everything I saw tonight, and everything I've heard about camp suggests there's little running room for the backs--even w/first teamers. We might want to look at a mauler at guard in the next draft. Open some lanes in those clogged freeways! Pass protection should be much improved, but we'll want more for the run game down the road.

Of note the 20 play drive to start took about 10 minutes. They were getting to the line fast, subbing fast, snapping fast.

Im not sure a guy that has started for nine years is a bust, He just was not a good tackle for the draft spot and the money he was getting. But a bust cant play and he has for almost a decade.
