Last year some well-meaning members of this forum posted the picks from a twitter feed before they were announced at the podium. Some on here objected to it for various reasons. Before everything gets started I'd just like to know how everyone feels about this. Being a long-time draft watcher, I personally like the anticipation of waiting to hear the announcement from the podium. How do you guys feel about this?

Some people just have to know first, or tell everyone first, like they win a car or something. 10 minutes after the pick, who gives two shits if you knew about it two minutes before people who watched on TV? I just stay off of the internet during the draft. -
I'm with you I like to watch the draft unfold on TV and just get the info from the podium.... I don't understand getting all geeked up because you got the pick/trade on twitter 42 seconds before it was announced from the podium...Forget it Donny you're out of your element

It's usually the same guy at the party that knows you are DVRing the game and does not tell you the score directly but says just enough to spoil it for you. "Make sure you watch the game to the end", or "I won't tell you what happened but what an amazing play by this player", or "Rivers has not been playing very well lately, huh?". Still in case some feel the need perhaps a Draft Twit Feed thread should be started for those who want to prepost picks and trades. It is a good resorse for anyone who can't watch the draft.Go Rivers!Comment
