Other then DGB, Strong and Green i dont think any WR will be worth the 2nd pick. Not sold on Smith. I think the next 2 picks will be OL/OLB.

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

6 WRs went in the 1st, that group was hit pretty hard too.

Many projections had 7-9 going in the first. Mel has 18 going by the end of the third round. There will be some excellent day 3 Wrs to choose from IMO.

Yeah, THAT was asinine! WTF was Goodell thinking? How could he have possibly messed that up?

I began to wonder if maybe Roger was "punishing" MM for his absence in Chi-town.

The line is ultimately the most responsible for protecting the QB. But, the receivers and backs, by getting open quickly, can shorten the amount of time the line is responsible for pass blocking. Two years ago, when Keenan Allen and Danny Woodhead were playing healthy, we had guys getting open quickly and covering up the fact that our pass blocking, outside of King Dunlap, kind of sucked. Last year, although it may have also had to do with the new playcaller, the receivers weren't getting open, and Rivers needed more protection than our O'line could provide.

Woodhead was a HUGE loss last season; perhaps our biggest loss. So yes, I think it will help a great deal to have him back. And Gordon adds another element. I just wish we had signed Wisniewski and moved Watt to OG! The (starting) line would then be mostly set.
