Good pick but I really wanted Girly Man..................................
Still happy with a RB that can take it to the house and has a eye for the End Zone.........................

                Now thats confidence, lol.

I agree with you though. I liked Gordon better than Gurley for his overall game. We just need to give him some running room to get started.

Visit this in 3 years I guess. Problem is that as much as I like Gordon...he truly does have to put up LT type numbers to justify the selection. If all you want is a 1100 yard guy with 5-6 TDs then that could have been found on day 2-3 IMO.

At least that's the expectation I have of a first round RB - dominating not just serviceable.

Regardless, we should all wait until TT's entire draft us finalized.
Wait. What? LT was a number 5 pick. This guy is a 17 plus about a 143 plus a 160+ next year. Those combos no way equate to a number 5. This guy has a ton of talent. I'm excited to see what he does and I don't have to compare him to LT to decide if he's a success.

One more thing that needs to be brought to light: It isn't ONLY about stats. It's about the other team having to be concerned about the player; enough so that just being on the field disrupts their game plan. Does Donald Brown bring that to the team? Does Brandon Oliver? Danny Woodhead does. Gordon, if as advertised, will do that, too...only more so. You can't forget about him; you have to game plan to stop/contain him. Sure, a 3rd-round pick MIGHT turn out to be that type of player. But a 3rd-round OT or DT MIGHT turn out to be the next Vince Wilfork, too. All Telesco has done is increase the odds of having an impact. And he doesn't necessarily have to put up 150 yards/game to do that. He might even elevate Rivers' game; the OL's game; the WRs game.
