    Physical vs Finesse

We've all heard that other teams consider the bolts to be good but "soft". Hardwick said we needed some bad, bad dudes like Foley. I think with the Perryman and Mager picks the front office probably sees something there as well. These guys are physical, hitters. I know that cliche but if you've played the game at any level you know exactly what's meant by that. Finesse is great for skill positions and scheme but I we need to be able to punch teams in the mouth and set the tempo. Maybe I'm misreading these picks but I would love to not be considered "soft".

Totally agree with you. It's obvious they want to change the atmosphere and be more physical. If they pick OL in either or both of the next two rounds I expect them to go with a couple of inside mauler types with a bad attitude.

Finesse NFL player? Sure. Soft? No such person in the tough NFL.

Deion Sanders was kind of soft. But then again he did return punts and that takes extreme balls IMO. Antonio Cromartie...same thing. He returned kick offs though.

I think so as well, on both counts.

compared to the average person not soft at all but, for an nfl team? IF other teams think it and our former center thinks it then there must be something there. When Hardwick says " bad, bad dudes" I don't think he is referencing the police blotter.

Only defensive player in the history of the NFL to win Defensive Player of the Year award without making a tackle!

Alright, maybe he made one or two......

                        Physical starts in the trenches.

You're not physical because you drafted a "thumper" at CB. Whatever that even means.

Perryman can be physical, but not when he's getting swallowed whole in traffic.

                        Please stop with this silliness.
