I just had an epiphany...So I figured other Powder Blue'ers might have them too...Let's post them here

My "Deep Thought" for today is....Do you you guys think certain players we have can perform better if they are next to better players/teammates? For instance Would Kendall Reyes be better or Atleast mediocre if he had a better or a consistent face on his left side ? He already has Liuget on his right side, And Reyes has showed flashes of making some good plays every now and then but he's been on a bad streak the past few seasons. I know our O-Line suffers from this too.

So in other words which Chargers need to get bye with a little help from their friends ??? Reyes definately seems like he fits the bill.

I know which ones get high with a little help from their friends, But that's for a whole other thread

Here's a not so deep thought. Reyes is playing in his contract year this coming season. That might be enough to spur him on to his best season yet. But if it's not then why not put a picture of Jamal Williams on Cory Luigets face - when on the sidelines. Maybe that will work

I think Reyes being demoted to second string/rotational DE along with him being in his contract year could probably motivate him. Let's trade next years first for Muhammad Wilkerson and test out that theory

can't see that working on DL in modern NFL with situational substitution packages and need to keep guys fresh all game and season long by rotating players. I blame our DL coach for lack of improvement and consistency in our players on DL.

Seems to be true of OL and DBs to a certain extent, and am I wrong in thinking Reyes didn't start to suck until we lost Lissemore to injury in the Seattle game? Anyway nice thought and I'm making it my mantra, along with no major injuries please.
