Way OT: Best rock front-woman performance of all time

I swear this chick (Cristina Scabbia an Italian goddess) freaking rocks. Love this live clip. Fellow rockers if you don't agree show me something better.

Rachel Sweet. Saw her open for Graham Parker when she was only 16. This is the song she sang:

More old school then: I saw the Bangles open for the Go-Go's at SDSU when the Go-Go's first album came out. It wasn't at the amplitheater either, it was inside in a pretty small room.

I watched about 2 mins. I don't see any boobs or anything. Are you just talking about her singing?

I dunno, I've always liked Pat Benatar; hell of a voice. But my favorite has always been Grace Slick. White Rabbit is a foogin' classic.

                    My two cents

                    PJ Harvey

Pj Harvey performs for classic hit Down by the Water on Later with Jools Holland in 1995, once again, putting the other acts to shame :D

I've heard Benatar trained as an opera singer before turning to rock.

Thats true. Her voice had such great range and she still tours and performs today. She looks great for nearly 60. Was a big fan of hers in my youth.

Today I gotta throw Lizzie Hale into the conversation. Love Halestorm!
