OK, it started raining, lighting show is still going on. Still booming thunder. 25 minutes to showtime.

This delay is bizarre. Too dangerous to play, but not too dangerous to have the fans in the stadium and the announcers on the field.

I don't believe there is anyway lighting can harm anyone under the dome...I think they mentioned something about communication antennas or something. Or...maybe the stadium is made of METAL but then again I lived in so cal all my life..don't know much about it.

Chargers are not.

I can't stress enough what a black swan this weather event is for Los Angeles.

The NFL & stadium officials are taking every precaution, like they do in Miami when fronts move through. It's to protect live audiences, after all.

SoFi flooded with Raider fans - they are subhuman. and a reporters job is to get the story under dangerous conditions.

the roof is made of perforated metal panels....... lighting might hit the roof but its not going tp hit people inside.....

again..... the NFL management are not engineers or scientists, so they chose too be super safe......

OMG...... this is a huge raiders crowd...... the roar when raiders came onto field..... then when Chargers came out, the boos were deafining..... some home field?....lol
