WTF was that....kicking it twice? Either the Refs screwed up bigtime, or that is a bullshit rule. How the hell can you punt it twice? That isn't football...that was a block, period. What a ridiculous call...even if it is by the rules...Bet you that one ends up in front of the competition board this off season.

I didn't watch the game I just saw a highlight...was hard to tell. And it sounds like it's a missed call for sure. Regardless there won't be a rule change based on that play.

I never knew that was the rule...and Im flabbergasted how anyone thinks thats a good thing...hell, why dont we have QBs just pick up their batted down passes, as long as they dont pass the line of scrimmage, and give em a second chuck? Sorry...just dont like that one bit....

I don't recall ever seeing a second attempt at a punt that worked. After a block, the punter is usually creamed.

I thought he was past the line of scrimmage on the second punt so like a second forward pass - it would be illegal.

But I am sure the NFL and the league office were all over the play and made the correct call ( sarcasm intended)
