With so much wr talent in camp, I think T Williams is more of a PS candidate. Don't show him in pre season games and try to hide him from the rest of the league.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Herndon is the relative veteran of those non-picks, so I'll go with him for now. Lets see how camp goes.

Yeah, that's who I see Williams has to beat out. Nice having a camp battle for the last spot on such a key squad, thank you TT.

Me too, I would have to go with Williams over Herndon.

He didn't even get a combine invite....I don't know how long he would last on the PSquad...unless he is just too raw. I read his 3 cone drill at his pro day would have been the best time by "anyone" at the combine.
Forget it Donny you're out of your element

It's an interesting decisions to be made. Outstanding physical talent and a very high ceiling is something that is hard to pass on over a more prepared player with less upside. Still, it's a huge leap in competition for Williams, something he's not going to be able to overcome in one training camp, imo.

Where did they stash Gates in his rookie year? I seem to recall they had to keep him on the active roster in order for him not to get picked up by another team. Unfortunately Williams is not a secret because the Patriots, and I'm sure some others worked him out before the draft. I agree that if he shows anything in camp it will be hard to pass him through waivers to get him onto the practice squad.

Yeah, I believe they kept Gates on the roster his rookie year.

Injuries could upset this...would MM go with Herndon over Williams if he had to be active on game days? (I think our bottom WR is usually inactive)
