My father's favorite sister married a Cincinnati man after the war in the 1940s. They had a passel of children, who in turn have passels of children. So I'm related to a lot of people in Cincinnati, though I don't think I've ever been there. One of my cousins, who is a year or two older than me, has always been a big Reds and Bengals fan. Opening week last season, Burrow's first game, when the Chargers got away with a win when the Bengals kicker missed a routine field goal, my cousin posted on his social media: "Still the Bungles." I consoled him, told him to give Burrow some time, he's going to be a QB and the Bengals are going to arise. He messaged me a little while ago to say thanks for helping him keep the faith, he's ecstatic over the win yesterday.

Didn't realize Metcalf was a dirty player.

That said, there was a ref looking right at him when he shoved Lattimore, and yet they threw the flag on Lattimore for the retaliation. They can't pretend they didn't see it.

DK Metcalf is officially the Dennis Rodman of the NFL.

Walks a fine line between dirty and legal play, gets in opponent’s head, and reaps the benefits. Not a bad strategy.

Not to mention the blue hair and piercings.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

This ref crew with some ticky tack calls. That was a very borderline roughing call.

Geno Smith looks lost. Always has. He's just not an NFL caliber QB, not even as a back up.
