Yeah, high ankle sprain shouldn't take too long to heal, piece of cake.

Before some other posters jump all over your reply, Mav didn't post that it was a "high ankle sprain", just some sort of "minor ankle injury". However...he's the only one that's seen this ESPN Report, and he can't link to it, so we're left to guess the real extent of the injury. It's not like we can count on the Chargers to be forthcoming.

Exactly. I was being sort of facetious but looking at the current regime's propensity for withholding the extent of injuries (which I don't have an issue with), a "minor ankle injury" could mean high ankle sprain for all we know.

It's in the UT now, too. It is being called a minor injury. Gordon might play against the Cardinals.

            Here's a SDUT link:

I wonder if this has anything to do with him sitting out one day early in TC?

Massive overreaction? No...just a response to the absolute fact that we have heard this before. When it is still hobbling him in week 11, then I will overreact.

Melvin Gordon is practicing today after not working yesterday. Perryman remains sidelined

Dammit, don't we have enough injured linebackers already??!!!
                  Prediction:
                  Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

this could either be a minor injury as in if it was a real game he's fine....or this could be a Manti Teo minor injury where you don't know when he'll be able to play

The San Diego Chargers rookie running back, their first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and the anointed starter at the position, will miss tomorrow night's game with an ankle injury.

In fact, it is likely to be a spinal injury.
