Need Shade Advice for Lions Game

Hi, I want to buy tix for Lions game. Last time I went to a home opener and didn't sit in my season seats, I almost died of heat stroke, and we lost to the Panthers to boot.

What rows are safe in Plaza home sideline for shade? What about Loge opposite the scoreboard? I saw some tickets for Row 10, my seats in 12 were shaded, but I cant remember where the shade started. Thinking Loge 20ish.

Any advice?

I don't drink, it's not an issue, but I wont go if I'm not in shade. Sounds pussy, but I never want to relive what happened that day.

Edit: Also I flew to Denver that Friday looking like a freak on the plane and got to witness the Hochuli game in person and I got more sunburned at that game.

My worst week as a Chargers fan.

I've had some bad days in the sun at the Q, so I don't go unless my seat is in the shade. Sitting behind the goalpost, looking into the sun, that's miserable. That's the only thing I don't like about the stadium.

You know, I practically never post to this site (long time lurker, bla blah), but this is right in my wheel house. We researched this very carefully when picking our season ticket seats a few years back. On the home side plaza level, the overhang starts right at row 15/16, depending just a bit on which section you're in. The overhang then starts to get annoying after row 20 or so. Stay within that range and you'll be happy and shady all game long.

I mean it's in the shade near the 50 yard line. Every other seat near that section is going for $200 plus.

I found a pair of seats in Loge Endzone that were $275 for the pair, but my friend couldn't go so instead of buying two I just bought one for myself and am going to my other friends tailgate party.

And what really sucks is after WE pay for the new stadium, THEY get to up the ticket prices because THEIR stadium is nicer.
