This is correct. An Indy win makes the Chargers wildcard positioning a bit more precarious. If Indy wins, they move the Chargers down one notch in playoff seeding. The Colts will have the same record as the Chargers, but they have a better conference record so they move about the Chargers. Also, if Indy wins, the Patriots lose a game in their division lead over the Bills. We want the Patriots to win the division because if they don't, they will compete against the Chargers for a wildcard, and they own the head-to-head tie-breaker.
