Interesting that some of the different rankings and ratings actually had the Chargers going up. A #1 offense (yds) does that.

But 16 and 19 are pretty different IMO. 16 is saying you're average. We're not average and we're certainly not going to be average going forward.

I am just amazed that we moved up at all. Somehow, even though we are decimated by injuries and have lost 4 in a row, it means others are sucking worse than us.

I hear ya. I just think most of the rankers don't know what they are looking at just yet. The injuries are really going to start making themselves felt.

Not to mention the gauntlet of 5 Division games at the tail end of the season.

I can understand a 16th ranking. We are a solid team if you look at the roster. The big problem is that where we are weak, we are impossibly weak. Every team exploits us.

In terms of raw talent, this is a middle of the road team. But that doesn't matter until our OLB start playing the game in their position and on their feet, and the OL has to actually block people. Until that happens, we are going to struggle, even though the rest of the team is solid.
