I believe the offensive game plan tomorrow will have the Chargers coming out run-heavy on offense, with the O line intact once again, and Justin Jackson healthy and playing well, as compliment to Austin Ekeler. I believe the goal will be to establish they can move the ball on the ground, then start letting Herbert open up with his arm, keeping the Broncos' D guessing and have trouble stopping the run and the pass. I am really looking forward to watching the duo of Ekeler and Jackson run the ball behind the Chargers offensive line that has all its pieces in place - especially Linsley, Feiler and Slater - not just tomorrow but moving forward for as long as the Chargers play into this season. If everybody can remain injury and COVID free, I think an upgraded Chargers running game can be a difference maker for the offense. For most of the season it was just Ekeler at RB, and he was getting worn down, it was too much. Rountree and Kelley added little and Justin Jackson had too many injuries. Jackson has looked very good since his return from injury, but Ekeler had to miss a game and the OL hasn't been entirely intact due to injuries and COVID. But all the pieces of the run game are going to be assembled for the Denver game for the first time, I think, and the Broncos' D is not going to be prepared for it.

They say Austin Ekler was quoted as saying Chargers had a hard time getting up for game with Texans?????..... if that is true, this team is not ready to be a playoff team....
