    Refs were pretty good today.

It was nice not to have the refs screw up too much for once.

Only bad calls I remember were the personal foul on Detroit (when one of them tackled Allen) and the Melvin Gordon TD takeaway.

I was rewatching old games and there were so many flags last year.

I really hope this is a sign of things to come.

I believe they said on TV that crew threw the least number of penalties of any crew last year

Dude, they robbed us of a TD. So I'm going to have to call bullshit on this.

It's true, but I watched the replay and it was really close. I think he might have actually been down since his arm touched.

Literally just watched that play. They didn't blow the whistle early, but Abdullah recovered it.

The Gordon TD was an amazing play but his forearm touched the ground. The refs made the right call.

Gordon did say that he though he might have been down, but just kept going.

Sorry. I read elbow when you clearly wrote forearm. I even highlighted it. Yes, I think his forearm was down, but the ref dude who came into explain stuff, from what little I could hear over the bar noise, said it was a bad call. I guess you were right, and I was wrong, if the rule is any part of the forearm. His wrist was down. Seems a dumb rule. I always thought it was the elbow that mattered.
