That’s where the buck stops when you blame the players like Staley did.Originally posted by WindsorUK View Post
Do you think he'll blame Telesco next???
On the other hand, Swinton became the scapegoat for Special Teams poor rating.
I’m not buying the bifurcation. Staley shirked any coaching responsibility for defense abysmal rating, blaming players instead, yet throws Swinton under the bus for Special teams which rated higher than defense.

The SLOWEST! I am actually surprised more punts were not blocked this year.Originally posted by Parcells View PostHow about Ty Long having the slowest wind up of any NFL punter I’ve ever seen? Special teams sucked until we made two mid season veteran acquisitions. Telesco gets the credit here.I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.

If I didn’t have a rooting interest in his punts not being blocked I would have found every-time he punted to be one of the more exciting moments in sports. It always felt like he was within half a second getting blocked. If I were an opposing coach I would have brought the pressure every single punt.Originally posted by UtahBolt View Post

Plus, it’s not like he has some booming leg and he’s drilling 60 yard punts. He has an average strength leg at best.

This one is a real head-scratcher. I'm losing confidence fast.A healthy Chargers team is second to none. The best way to stay healthy is to avoid further injury. And the best way to do that is to not play football. So if we just stop playing football, there's no limit to what this team can accomplish.
