"Perryman shot a run gap to help mop up a tackle that defensive lineman Darius Philon made behind the line of scrimmage." I hope we hear that a lot more in the future.

this would be a good game to use some of our thumpers more in the middle for run support against AP.

Why isn't anyone talking about this monster hit?

Huge hit huge play Textbook. Reminded me of Jr a little bit. I hope he gets more playing time.

He did blow the guy up (but it was after a 4 yard gain). We do need some more physical play out of our front 7 so I can only see him getting more and more playing time as the season goes on.

He meet him in the whole, so that's three yards of our front 3 going backward...

If he got 4 yards then the refs marked it poorly. Check out the video. Perryman met him in the same spot where the ball was hiked and the the guy got no further. So maybe 1 yard if the mark is correct.

Hell of a hit for sure. It also reminded of a classic Jr. tackle. The rest of the team could take lessons from Perryman.

I don't really care if it was a 1 yard loss or a 4 yard gain, we need more hits like that from our D. Perryman was reportedly not having a good camp, hopefully the lightbulb is starting to click for him because that's the kind of aggression the D needs.
