Lambo should take up golfing. Problem solved.
    Prediction:
    Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Anyone else notice that Lambo's kicks are never straight.

His balls slice to the right just like my golf tee shot

He still hit the followup so I say it was clutch! A game winning kick is a game winning kick!
I didn't notice myself, wasn't paying attention to that part, but a caller on the radio this morning made the same assertion. It very well could have affected his kick. He also would've made it from maybe 2 yards closer on the same exact kick. I just hope it doesn't affect his confidence.

He did make the game winner so I wouldn't think it would.

BUT IT SHOULDN'T AFFECT HIS KICK! THAT'S THE POINT! Nothing should affect his kick because everything barring the hold is irrelevant and shouldn't be noticed.

That said, he nailed the second one and I don't think he's all that worried about misses. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy to get into a funk.

That's true, his job is to kick it with the same mechanics every time. He's clearly not yet as accurate as Novak. I hope that doesn't bite us. Speaking of which, the edge he was supposed to provide was deep kicks, and for sure his kickoffs are way deeper than Novaks. But opposing return teams clearly have zero respect for our coverage as they routinely return kickoffs that are fielded very deep in the end zone, and usually get it close to the 30. So for now, the reason for his winning the job has provided very little benefit. Hope that changes.

I agree. Just ask the Jags kicker! He missed 3 kicks in a row that would have won that game against INdy.

I'm probably applying my T'eoitis on this one, and only thinking of the misses, and the XP that he missed felt like a field goal because of the distance. You could rationalize knocking his percentage down by 2 misses that technically are off the books (the mulligan in the browns game, and the missed xp), but he really did miss those kicks. They're coloring my perceptions here. I'll try to hold off on making judgements too early, but he feels more shaky on routine field goals than Novak, even if the stats don't really bear that out.
