Nick Ford, IOL, Utah-Lots of experience and can play all 3 interior spots

Chris Steele, CB, USC - plus size and athleticism, good eye discipline, needs lots of technique work (especially his footwork) to get the most out of his athleticism, I do worry about his competitive fire as he transferred from Florida to Oregon to USC in college

Bo Melton, WR, Rutgers- 4.3 speed, lots is ST experience as a gunner, a better route runner than people give him credit for, poor QB play limited him

Zach VanValkenburg, EDGE, Iowa- below average athleticism, needs NFL training program, very good hand usage, solid against the run, high motor

Devon Williams, WR, Oregon- good size and better athlete than he measured, needs to improve route running and using his size to high point the ball better, victim of inconsistent QB play

I like Ford and I like Empey too for the OL as a late pick. Ford has experience up and down the line. I also really like Britain Covey as I can see him as our Hunter Renfrow type of guy. Plus a huge boost to the return game.

We have lots of play in the 6th and 7th.

He does look good...but what about the SDST QB?!?! That dude was downfield looking to lay pads on ANYBODY! Maybe draft him for Teams play?

THIS is the kind of receiver we need! A guy that can wind his way through the junk in the middle, make the catch, and keep moving!

I have watched every game Covey and Ford have played collegiately. Ford is truly a jack of all trades and can be used all over the interior line; however, he is stiff and not very agile getting to the second level. Just read locally he has lost 19 pounds over the previous few weeks and that should help but the buzz around here is he will go undrafted. Bam Olesani is probably the better Ute O-line prospect and his size should translate to the NFL. He's only played football for a few years and has a ton of upside in him. Might be a steal at tackle in the later rounds.

Covey. What can I say about Covey? The dude could run for mayor of SLC and win in a landslide (so could D Lloyd but this is not about him). HUGELY popular here in Utah and he is just a flat out winner. I have some doubts about his size in the NFL but knowing him and his grit and toughness it will not be an issue. He has the best vision of any collegiate player I have ever seen, the dude sees this crazy rhythm of the field and exploits it with speed and agility. He will be very dangerous returning punts and will be a pretty good 4th/5th slot-centric WR rounding out a teams receiver room. Would love to land him on the Bolts, the punt returns alone will be must see TV, no bathroom breaks when the PR team is out there!
