So in 41 games since 2013 we have only run the ball 27/game 11 times? And we traded up for a RB in the 1st round? All while giving lip service to ballence?

Hard to run with no holes. But hey, we could rush 40 times for about 100 yards, score 6 points and maybe some would be happy. Nah...

You can argue cause or effect, but the reality is that our run game is not effective and our passing game is. We get behind early more because our defense and special teams have struggled so much early in games that we are forced to play catch up. That, IMO, has nothing to do with our running game.

Our offence is also terrible in the 1st quarter and marginally better in the second going back a few seasons now. What's that about? Could it be ballence? Poor run blocking? Getting figured out (most recently?) We went on a tear with Reichs first 5 games, but since we have been figured out and put it on Rivers to save us. Daaaaaa ts an easy coaching job if u ask me.

regarding how we played GB, it's been reported at several places that we had to play aggressive because we were playing GB. I mentioned in a thread that week that we should play aggressive against everybody, but i guess the team didnt feel like playing UP against the Raiders, because well, they're just the raiders. Though it is understandable for the the team to not always be on their A game every week (even when they SHOULD)
