If we get the #1 pick won't we draft a QB to replace Rivers when he breaks, I mean retires in 4 years? Not sure I want the #1 pick as I doubt ownership would allow us to draft the best OT or DT more like we would gamble on a WR or CB at #1 if we did not draft a QB...

If they land the #1 pick, conventional wisdom would be to trade for a handful of picks and use them all on linemen. Of course, the Chargers will probably draft a WR, or God forbid, another RB.

If we get a high draft pick, there are a number of different ways they could go. The offensive line sucks and the defensive really needs an impact player. If there is a JJ Watt type player available, grab him. They could also use an impact player on offense. Keenan Allen is having a nice year catching 9 yard passes down the field, but we have no deep threat and no guy that is a threat to take it to the house. This team is a mess with a lot of needs right now. One of the worst rated offensive lines and one of the worst rated defenses right now

It looks like an expansion team to me. They have a quarterback, WR, and TE but that is it! Alright - add one and a half RB's (Woody = one and Gordon = half), one CB and maybe one DT (liuget). All the rest you can flush.
