    Chargers Strength of Schedule 2022

If you look the opp records, it's look like we have the 10th tougher schedule this year.
But in reallity, I don't think so.
The Chargers have only 5 games against top 10 total offenses (2 KC, ARI, SF and LAR).
Our new defense will love it.
And only 4 games against top 10 total defenses (CLE, 2 DEN and SF).
Another very good year for Herbie.
If the receivers can stop dropping passes (38 last year, worst in NFL)
And the defense can diminish the 127 missed tackles of last year (3rd worst in the league)
We could have a very nice year !

Weird thing : SEA is 28th total defense and 9th scoring def !
    Like KC : 27th and 8th

I noticed that! We're in a very favorable position based on last year's stats.
Stuff happens - but this year we should be the stuff that happens to the other guys.

The problem with preseason strength of schedule models is they are based on last year’s teams. I don’t put a lot of stock in them.

We WILL have a very good year.

There's likely going to be a team expected to be shit that balls out, we better not sleep at the wheel.
I'm weary of the Jags week 3.
if we get off to a hot start, that could easily be a trap game.
Lawrence is out to establish himself, and across the field is Herbert, the qb Trevor is SUPPOSE to be (extra motivation?)
Pedersen is also trying to establish himself, errr re-establish.
        .005 Brock Bowers, TE/HB/SR Georgia
.037 Braden Fiske, DT Florida St.
        .069 Mike Sainristil, CB Michigan
        .105 Brenden Rice, WR USC
        .110 Mason McCormick, OG/OC S. Dakota St.
        .140 Zak Zinter, OG Michigan
        .181 Nehemiah Pritchett, CB Auburn
.225 Ainias Smith, WR Texas A&M
        .253 Carson Steele, RB UCLA

I doubt the Jags pull out their 2022 schedule and circle “Chargers” on their schedule. Every game counts, nothing special about this one.

The dropped pass stat is a judgment call and arbitrary. The Chargers were 2nd in the league and 1st in the conference in passing yards last season. It's hard to say that dropped passes were a problem.

Just imagine Chargers WRs could cut a half of the 38 drops they had last year !

There were several game moments when it was a problem. We all saw them.
