I know the conventional wisdom is Franklin makes too much money, but we got rid of Gaithers and Meachem when they sucked and got paid a lot.
Robinson is not a good C, but he is decent at making the line calls. We didn't get confused very much, we just weren't good enough to get anyone blocked. Bring him back, just make sure there are at least 2 Centers in front of him so that he has to earn a job. He may still come on a win a backup job, but make him actually earn it. Same with Watt. Before he got hurt he looked really good. But then he couldn't bend his knee/leg and had no leverage. He can still come on, but bring in at least 1 other player (preferably two) to compete. Do it across the board. Wr, DE, OLB, .... obviously some spots don't need the same talent levels, but make the guys win.
I disagree with OT being a need. Interior OL was a huge need in every game after the Lions. OT we were OK at. Not great, but OK. C too.
You cannot coach turnovers. The only thing you can do is put the team in a position to get more. Get a lead, get a pass rush, play a lot of zone (so the DB are facing the ball and can react to it in the air). The other thing we need is the young players need to stop making mistakes, especially the LB and DL. Players need to be physical and play their assignments. So many of the big plays we allow are simply a function of not playing assignment football. If you look at Denver's D, they had very few assignment mistakes all year. line up and play fundamentally sound football and don't worry about being cute.
