Let me just say it....no to Whisenhunt

In the off chance McCoy does get canned (I don't think even a 2-14 meltdown will get him out of here....Spanos Clan will blame it on injuries and fire Pagano as the scapegoat), please please please please do not turn to Whisenhunt as the safe hire for "continuity" for fuck's sake.

Look, I respect what he did for Rivers in 2013 but he still called a gutless game against the Broncos in that playoff game and another retread for continuity's sake is not what we need.

Unfortunately this script is all too familiar. Replace milktoast Mike with the "tough" Whisenhunt + continuity for bonus points. Fucking Spani.

Despite what happened against the Broncos Whiz > Reich. Not that I expect anything to happen.

Just because he's better than Reich doesn't mean he's somebody we should aspire for.

McCoy has lost the team IMO.

Sean Payton could be available and I would take him here in a heartbeat.

I'd rather see both Pagano and Reich canned starting the bye week and Nolan and Metzellars named interim to succeed them and given free hand to change things up rest of the way. Then start fresh after the season from TT on down.

Reich ain't getting canned, his name is circulating as a head coaching candidate this off-season.

Would be a hell of a story line if the Chargers moved, hired Payton, and then he led them to a SB title. Only because there are similarities between the train wreck Chargers - arguably the worst franchise in football at this moment - and the equally (at the time) train wrecky Saints that he took over and led to their first SB victory several years ago.

Maybe we'll have The Big One (earthquake) during the off-season to mimic Katrina in New Orleans right before Payton took over.
