A bit of fire under coaches asses. They need to feel pressure.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if he is not out for the year.

We have the lowest yards per carry average at 2.6 (the next worse is the Bengals at 3.3 yards). There are 17 players with more yards rushing than our entire team, and it could be 18 if Elliot gets 80 yards tonight. Someone pointed out earlier than losing our offensive line coach might be hurting us a lot more than we expected.
One thing about the running game - you have to keep doing it - or at least try - to be successful. Zero reason for Lombo to not call one running play from that first and goal inside the 10 down 16-7. ZERO reason except for stubborness or stupidity.

But to run the ball - you have to be patient - and its tricky as the Chargers are best passing the ball with Herbert. But Herbert wasn't healthy. I am not sure he should have played yesterday. I think Daneils would have been the better option. Different game plan too.

I disagree with playing Daniel if the primary issue is pain tolerance. Even a limited Herbert is better than a healthy Daniel. Herbert wasn't himself but let's be real - he had very little help yesterday.

You can critique anything when it doesn't work. Do we know how often Herbert changes the plays? It could be he wants switching out of run, but I can't tell. Whatever the reason, we aren't a very well oiled offense right now.

OMG.....back to the scene of last years disaster following this years disaster. Bolt up what's left and hope we are 2 - 2.

A loss. On our way to 1-16 and the First Pick in the Draft! That would also - maybe - be Spanos' cue to fire Telesco and the entire coaching staff. Might as well start from the bottom...again. The Jaguars will win a Super Bowl before the Chargers. In fact, EVERY team will win a Super Bowl before the Chargers. And yes, I'm VERY down on this bunch right now. Sick and tired of the poor product.

So the Texans have the 28th ranked offense and 28th ranked defense. Maybe they are what we need to get back on track???

Not falling for this again after last year. There’s no soft spot on the schedule when you’re a Chargers fan.

Checkmate - one move to disable both sides of OL. Add Corey to mix so we do not have middle of OL.
But Herbert will play because "We" decided so.
