I was a believer in Staley…but I can’t defend having Herbert in there down by 28. That was inexcusable.

Let’s hope Staley moves on from Lombardi by next season.

This is the worst injury possible for this team because there's no replacement. Storm was getting pushed around the second he entered the game.

          Totally agree.
Why is Storm still on the roster?

I'm not sure a season-ending injury to Slater is the worst possible, but it's certainly right up there. Slater is such a good kid too. I wish the best for him.

                They went 11-5

He's still available and wasn't terrible last season. According to PFF he ranked 46th out of 83 tackles, gave up 7 sacks, and that's playing with Wentz at QB who holds the ball a LOT. They could sign him and keep Pipkins at right tackle. I think that's better than rolling with any combination that involves Storm Norton as a starter.

Agreed, I think signing Fisher to play LT is preferable to completely reshuffling the line with Pip at LT and Feiler at RT.

                      Salyer played LT at UGA.

                      Just throwing that out there.

He couldn't be any worse than Norton.

Salyer was not good enough to beat out Norton as our swing tackle. That kind of says a lot about him being ready. But at this point, I have seen enough of Norton so why not.
