Sigh. Play calls aren't getting receivers into any space. Obviously it can't happen all the time (and certainly this is a good D). But, c'mon. Everything is blanketed.

These receivers are blanketed more often than not.

Herbert needs to settle down though. He was not accurate that first series.

Another series in which we get behind the sticks with a first down running play. Lombardi will never get it. Pass on first down. Then use the run. It is so obvious and yet it continues to escape Lombardi.
