After 10-0 1st quarter.
Chargers go 20-7.
Supposedly they are one of the best 2nd quarter teams. So they punch back and get on track even if rd 1 was flat. But they have to find a way to start better. I wonder if some of that slow start is chemistry with all the moving parts because of injury. This offensive ride doesn't fire up so quickly. But then gets going and the cylinder starts pumping.
This wounded unit lead by Herbert got it done.
JH10 closed this out twice today into FG range for the Win.
You are what your record says you are. 5-3.
I don’t understand the anger. Chargers overcame injuries galore and won. I didn’t think they could win going in so I’m amazed with what they accomplished.
The Chargers showed me something today. Of course they did the same against Cleveland and Denver. This Chargers team isn't great but they also know how to win close ones. I'll gladly take that with all our injuries.
Road win, after spotting them 10 points...Herbert starting to look like his old self....good win.
But we gotta stop dropping passes, and this defense needs to get it figured out.
Gonna be a tough one vs SF...but win or lose, we can hope for Slayer and maybe Bosa on the other side of that game...maybe a few other players as well...
Lone Bolt's Final Mock
Tyler Booker G, Josaiah Stewart Edge, Cam Skattebo RB, Mitchell Evans TE, Jamaree Caldwell NT, Isaac TeSlaa WR, Ahmed Hassanein DE, Craig Woodson S, Eli Cox C, Kalel Mullings RB
Have to give credit where credit is due. The coaches prepared a good game plan and the players, with a decimated roster, executed it. Not too happy with the turnovers and drops, but hey, those happen. Was happy to see the Bolts start the game with some energy for a change.

I still have twinges of pain from my rib cartilage tear eight freakin years ago. So what I see Herbert doing is pretty amazing.

Yes, the offense started slow and the defense slower
but they turned it around
Not sure who will be available next week - but big time win
Sunday night against the Niners I think
I don't know why anyone thought that, I saw natural talent with his first play on special teams. I was wondering why they weren't using him more as WR
I'm glad they signed Carter in place of Andre Roberts. Carter hasn't done much as a kick returner, but he's played a vital role in the passing game with the injuries to Keenan and now Mike.
