When we weren't wounded on offense last year, we had to overcome this same lackluster play calling on earlier downs by going for it on 4th down in unconventional situations because our defense couldn't stop anyone. Assuming we have another healthy year with Staley and Lombardi at the helm and make it to the postseason, I can see how quickly we bounce out with this offense and play calling. I'm not even going to go into the defense at this point.

Yep. This team doesn’t have the front office, talent, health, or coaching. Other than a few players, position coaches, and the ST coordinator there’s not much worth keeping.
