Herbert needs to be more aggressive with his legs. Sitting back in the pocket waiting for these scrubs to get open isn’t working and obviously Lombardi can’t design anything creative to help him. Did Gilman and Don Coryell are rolling around in their graves watching this team. The offense is committing the cardinal sin. They’re boring.

Herbwrt should improvise more and maybe guys will get free

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in concussion protocol this week. Or maybe the offense is just that bad.

I can hear it already...nacho acho is gonna say "see I told you herbert is no good" although in this instance he didnt elevate the play of his surroundings.

Feiler shouldn't be half bad. Everett is a decent run blocking tight end.

They don't put effort and emphasis on it....and Lombo compounds the problem by throwing it short all the time,
bringing all 9 - 10 defenders into the box.
Maybe you're right. Not sure what we really have with Zion as a run blocker, but Linsley is definitely capable. Historically, Feiler had been decent in that aspect. I've seen some nice spring and crack blocks from Salyer too.

Your last point for sure is a major issue for the run game.

Lombo's play calling on that 1rst and two at the goal line made me want to throw up.

Healthier soon? This team is losing way more players than they are getting back. At this rate they're gonna have to bring back tillery.

the point many of us have been making all season...... and with that kind of deep speed on the field, Ekler cannot be double covered like he has been this year.... and KA and MW get more single coverage..... as well as the TE....

Speed makes a huge difference especially with a strong armed QB..... defense has to respect the speed and stay deep......

Hey this is going to be a funny story after we beat the same 9ers in the superbowl with Allen and Williams scoring a TD each.

I see many of you are happy with the moral victory. Our offense was not at the level of a professional football team in the second half. You can’t gain 52 yards in a half. That’s unheard of. Embarrassing. If they didn’t think they had the players they should have made moves before the deadline. If they thought they had the players then the coaching on offense was horrible tonight.

I actually didn’t mind play action on first down. Too bad about the false start on second down that basically forced us to pass the rest of the way.

Offense was sputtering. Herb missing throws and not seeing open guys. Foster Sarell held up well vs Bosa,
Whoever evalutes O-line needs a pay raise
Sarell was getting whooped and needed McKitty to chip on many plays. Sarell started out doing well against him but it didn't last.
