Considering the quality of the 49ers, their depth, and their great coaching, and losing, the Chargers may have played their best, most complete game of the season ...especially from an effort point of view.... we were out manned, out gunned, but the players busted their butts for 60 minutes for the first time this season.....they could have laid down and given up..... but they didnt..... if we ever get most of our starters back healthy, and we keep playing like we did sunday, we might win enough games to sneak in as a WC....

KCs third will be a late rounder and you are right, it was a 6th.

Still 2 picks but they had an extra 3rd to give up. Their own and a comp pick 3rd. Both will be late round 3rds.

I think it was the comp so easy come easy go. Not a prohibitively high price. Chargers should have made that deal. He’s better than Palmer will likely ever be

I'd guess he would get the ball if he were open. Herbert thru 3 times underneath tona TE far short of first down yardage. Nobody else open I suppose or some very bad decisions.

There is no doubt he looks quick on the field but I don't think Herbert and him are on the same page yet (Instinct on what the other player is doing and anticipate location). He felt like a fancy lure last night. LOL!

Not sure about that. Both evals of them are incomplete right now but Palmer has been more durable and more productive.

If he were some stud, he wouldn't of got traded in year 2 of his career. I'd have given a 6th and Tillery.
We'll see how he does. He hasn't been healthy much thus far.

Palmer isn't the problem here either. It's the other recievers after Palmer that needs upgrading. Unless you believe Chain....lol, I wouldn't advise that.

He’s already scored 2 TDs in 1 game? Palmer just isn’t a #1 or #2. He’s a nice piece as the 3rd wide receiver but he doesn’t make explosive plays. Toney’s ceiling is much much higher and with KC he’ll have a better chance of getting there

Herbert was dumping a lot of throws underneath. Ek is out leading receiver which is bad enough but he had 7 catches and McKitty 3 last night. I guess they could run Bandy on those underneath routes to get his catches up. Palmer the #1 target going in had 3 catches. Carter 4. Not prolific in any case. Just a bad night for offense after the first quarter

I work with a Giant fan and the team loved his talent but got frustrated with his injuries and gave up on him. He has played in 10 games his rookie year, 2 games his last year and has only played in 2 games this year. Seems like the perfect Charger WR.

                      He’d fit right in!

Do you disagree with him? Considering what their triplets put up in the game, I agree that he didn’t let those three beat us so I tend to agree that he did a heck of job with the game plan…

His first TD the closest defender was 20 yards from him on a short throw on the other side of the field.
I don't know what Ried dials up but that's some magic.
Again we'll see about Toney. He isn't a #1 either if that's where you are going with it.
