Oline really let us down tonight
And yet the D was in a position to win and failed miserably.

Does anyone here think the Chiefs would score every time in that situation unless some freak mistake occurs.

What exactly was the D trying to disrupt on that final drive?

Lucky bounce, blinds refs, heads up D, game.
K.Allen would have been open, but he could not separate from the KC guy who was grabbing his jersey. A clear holding penalty.
Who has it better than us?

        It’s simple folks:
Reid/Spags is much much better than Staley/Lombo
        Mahomes is better than Herbert
Kelce schooled Derwin and has probably been waiting since that body slam to do it. Absolutely owned him when it mattered.
pacheco is much better than Spiller.
        MW gave us nothing
Ma k gave us little or nothing

I remember after a loss like this about 10 yrs ago the announcers said we had some good players just not enough of them. It is the same story every yr including this year

KC just had better players on avg, Better DL vs ours OL, RB maybe = , WR, LB etc etc

Losing to TK when you know they will target him is just hopeless. Good Ds like BAL and NE would take away the O's best players and force the O to win another way,. Not us. It is like watching a train approach a brick wall and then the ensuing wreck in slow motion

I wouldn't hold my breath for coaching changes even if they lose out. Even in pathetic fashion. Management will excuse this season because injuries. That's Chargers football, baby.

They've invested a good deal of draft picks and money there.

Coaches can't coach, scheme or spot talent.

                We need alot:

DE, DT, RT, speedy ball hawking Safety, Speedy CB, multiple big fast LBers, Speedy TE, Speedy RB, multiple speed WR's...... speed, speed, speed!!!

and new ownership, new GM, NEW HC and staff.....

Staley uses words/phrases that only a person with masters degree will understand..... he needs to learn how to explain things to guys who are NOT rocket scientists..... and he needs to get angry and yell at screw ups....

When you realize the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL etc are littered with teams like the Chargers...then yeah, it doesn't bother you anymore. We'll have a cool upset or come from behind win each year, maybe a playoff win here and there - that sort of marks the kind of "Super Bowl experience" we can expect as fans. It is what it is. enjoy the little things while we can.

And yes this team will make the playoffs, 5/5 right now is not that bad and yes look at the schedule they have very winnable games coming up. Staley keeps this team fighting we just need a little better execution and we get there. The season isn’t over yet.
I'm not so sure if Bosa and his surgically repaired groin will necessarily be a difference maker if he even returns this year.

Dolphins/Titans games probably seal our fate, I'm sure we bumble at least another game in there. Doubtful even if they get to 9-8 that it would be enough.

Just look at the difference in final drives between the 2 teams. There was little doubt the chiefs were going to score. Us? Hebert pressured immediately both plays
